MASCIR (Moroccan Association of Science, Innovation and Research) is a nonprofit foundation that has been created by the Moroccan government to carry out applied research in high tech niches with the aim to creating wealth through development of new technologies.

Within MASCIR, Technology Development Center (TDC-Bio) is seeking multiple diagnostic assay development Senior Research Associates/Research Associates for our multiple opening positions.

As a Senior or Research Associate with TDC-Bio you will contribute to the development of immunological based in-vitro diagnostic products for mainframe and near patient testing systems. Activities include raw material selection and development, assay formulation and optimization, validation studies and transfer to Operations along with supportive analytical tasks. The position will involve adapting to changes in priorities and timelines to meet departmental needs.

Basic qualifications:
• BS or MS in Biological Sciences (e.g., biology, biotechnology, cell biology, biochemistry, immunology), with 3+ years experience in immunoassay development for the regulated In-Vitro Diagnostic (IVD) industry.
• Must have working knowledge of immunoassay methods used for quantitative protein analysis with experience in at least one of the following assay formats: ELISA, bead (e.g. Luminex platform), or chemiluminescence, or immunoflowcytometry.
• Understanding of QSR, GLP, or ISO regulatory requirements for IVD products.
• Strong understanding of monoclonal antibody production techniques is essential.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word programs is essential.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to prepare and communicate technical scientific information to a wide range of audiences.
• The ability to work both independently and in a team environment is essential.
