Oracle wishes to hire a Hardware Regional Sales Manager for its Internet/Telesales hardware division. The successful candidate will manage a multicultural Oracle/Sun hardware solutions Telesales/Internet Sales team selling a range of Hardware solutions to new and existing clients across a number of countries. This exciting new opportunity is based in Oracle's Dubai office and reports into the VP of EMEA Inside Hardware Sales.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for team revenue and activity targets.
Ensure team deliver opportunity creation targets
Hires, manages, coaches and develops a team of Internet Sales representatives
Manages and resolves escalations from customers, team members, partners, and key stakeholders
Responsibility for Performance management of team including, ensuring that all team members have active development plans, conducts appraisals and manages under performance issues.
Acts as a key influencer with key stakeholders within the business
Provides timely and accurate forecasts and other business reports
Creates and maintains up to-date business plan for area of responsibility.
Takes responsibility for own personal development
QUALIFICATIONS:
Fluency in English is a must
Fluency in any of these languages: Arabic, French, Afrikaans or Zulu is desirable
A minimum of 2 years experience as a people manager in a fast moving Sales environment
A result focused individual with a strong desire to succeed, a high level of energy, drive, enthusiasm, initiative and commitment
Self motivated to continuously expand personal and professional knowledge
Ability to work in a high pressure, fast moving and challenging environment
Professional with good organizational and planning and prioritization skills.
Strong communication and persuasive skills, both written and verbal with previous experience of dealing with senior executives
Good understanding of IT infrastructure with a strong business acumen
Strong interpersonal skills, Coaching, Leadership and Strategic Thinking skills
Ability to accurately and consistently forecast business for their area of responsibility.
Good IT skills especially with Excel and PowerPoint
Strong presentation skills
Third level education or equivalent experience
Previous knowledge of SUN/IBM or HP Enterprise hardware portfolio would be an advantage.
